OUR LADY CROWNED WITH 12 STARS

We all know the Virgin Mary as our gentle and loving mother. However there is another side to our Lady, one essential to our redemption : a warrior - Even before giving birth to Jesus she had to face a huge battle. By saying "yes" to God and accepting her mission she had to face the critics of her time which were not easy, as at that time, although she committed none, adultery (as it would look like to others) was punishable by death. In addition, she had to give birth to Jesus in extreme conditions, run away to Egypt in fear when King Herod ordered the execution of all young male children. As well as seeing him suffer during his passion, getting over her own suffering and helping the disciples to stay together and keep their faith while being persecuted after the ascension of Jesus. What amount of courage, dedication, unwavering faith in God did she have to keep this so long and difficult mission, as described by the holy angels : "Who is this who looks down like the dawn, beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, awesome as an army with banners ?" (Song of Solomon 6, 10) This Song is essentially about three women :- The Virgin Mary, (blessed among women), - visions of King Solomon - just as the psalm 22 presents King David'svision about Jesus-Christ suffering.- The Queen Bethsheba, mother of King Solomon (chap.3) - And the woman he apparently loved the most, the Queenof Sheba.God gave an extraordinary power to the Virgin Mary: power over all evil allowing her to crush the head of the ancient serpent. Our Lady is a key warrior in the Lord's war and she is the Queen of Angels. This fact about the Virgin Mary is essentially described in Revelation 12 :" A great sign appeared in heaven : a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven : an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the skies and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will "rule the nationswith an iron scepter". And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1260 days. Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and its angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and its angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down, - that ancient serpentcalled the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say : "Now have come the salvation and the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. They did not love their lives so much, as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them ! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you ! He is full with fury, because he knows that his time is short."When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent reach. Then from his mouth the
serpent spewed water like a river , to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon has spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring - those who keep God's commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus. The dragon stood on the shore of the sea."Through his passion and his death, Jesus triumphed over evil. As the devil cannot reach Jesus, he tried to reachthe Virgin Mary, which is also impossible for him. That's why he now attempts to reach us her children. So how do you stay protected against evil ? By praying our Lady crowned with 12 stars. As our mother, she will do all she can to protect us her children. Being the mother of our Saviour, Jesus denies her nothing. She is the pillar on which our Redemption was built.

During her life, Our Lady was constantly fighting, especially regarding keeping her faith in God, accepting God's will in any situation, being a mother, being poor, fleeing with fear, feeling lonely and experiencing pain when Jesus was suffering, and later when christians were persecuted : losing those she loved, fighting against evil, and all the questions in her heart : " O God, why ?".

    THE SONG OF THE VIRGIN

I am Mary, full of graceI love lilies, beautiful lilies from the valleysBut roses are my favorites. In the fieldsof wheat, barley and corn, I like to walk and rest, and on the sea my perfume evolves. What could I give? As nothing I took with me. By my spouse I was blessed , and my fruit isSweet. I climbed the mountain and I sat down Come and see The delights of Heaven !My feet stand upon the gates of hell, and my arms bend a bow of bronze. My knights are brave and hearty, and the chariots are pure gold. Yet my heart is bleeding : Weep no more myChildren, I am wiping your tears.

HE SONG OF THE VIRGIN : AN IN-DEPTH STUDY * wheat, barley, and cornPeople have been eating grains from the beginning of time. Flour is used to make bread, biscuits, cakes, dough and fermented dough, and many dishes all around the world. With time, wheat, barley and corn have produced various natural hybrids including:some wheat species denominations : common wheat, alkam, alkamara, gemah, kafo, n-gamo, sorgho, mil, spelt (farina) ...some barley species denominations : common barley, alkamami, escourgeon...However, as with many of our food, they have been victims of so much genetic modification, that we are left to wonder whether there are any natural grains left. Nutritional values of grains : they contain carbohydrates (especially starch, a carbohydrate that diffuses slowly in the body and produces energy), proteins( which are essential for the body to develop itself ;they also regulate glucose).Grains contain very few lipids, many minerals (potassium, iron, magnesium), vitamins (especially from group B, and vitamin E, which are essential for hair and skin), and fibers for good digestion. In ancient times, the "gladiators" were mainly feed with barley, and King Solomon also used barley to feed his warriors and his horses.Pearl barley can be cooked as rice, and is great for soups. Barley flakes can be used for porridge or added to salads. Barley flour can be used for cakes ; barley is also used to make beer. Bulgur wheat can be cooked like couscous.Corn species are recognised trough the colour of the kernels : white, yellow, red, purple, blue are the most common nowadays. In West Africa, corn is highly used to make different doughs and drinks, fermented or not, salted or sugary. .* On the sea, my perfume evolvesThe Holy Virgin Mary(THE STAR OF THE SEA - Maris Stella)was chosen to be the guardian of those who travel on the sea.We must remember that during the flood sent by God, the women who bared children to demons changed their feet into fish tails to escape the waters. They are called "Siren"(Enoch - Book of Watchers - Chapter 19).Our Holy Mother constantly prays for us. Her prayer is so pure that it reaches immediately God like the smoke of incense. (Psalm 141,2) (Revelation 8, 3-4). Her love for God and for Jesus, and her praises to the Living God are like a gentle perfume to our Lord. (Magnificat : "My soul magnify the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour, for he has regarded the lowliness of his handmaiden. For behold, from henceforth, all generations shall call me blessed...") (Ephesians 5, 2) (2 Corinthians 2,15)*What could I give ? As I took nothing with meContrary to Eve who desired the apple and ate it, and then gave it to eat to her husband Adam, the holy virgin Marie kept her soul pure and kept her virginity. She did not let herself be fooled by the enemy, and did not take anything he offered : neither lies, evil thoughts or jealousy, neither wealth of this world, neither magic or witchcraft, neither hatred or wickedness. She is not submitted to any curse. She is entirely obedient to God and has only the love of her pure heart to give.* By my spouse I was blessed, and my fruit is sweetThe Holy Virgin Mary is at the heart of the Holy Trinity. She is full with the Holy Spirit. She is the Daughter of the Father, the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, the Mother of the Son. She is blessed among all women. And Jesus, the fruit of her womb, is gentle and humble of heart.( Luke 1, 26-55 ) ( Matthew 11, 28-30 ). * I climbed the mountain and I sat downOur Holy Mother refused to sin, she overcame all sorts of "mountains" : the mountain of suffering, the mountains of pain, fear, anguish, misery, the mountains of temptations during her entire life. She was led by her faith in God and her obedience. She reached a high level of holiness that no one can never reach, and was able to defeat the devil. Through her virginity and her holiness, she deserved her titles of "Queen of Heaven,Mother of the Divine Grace, Gate of Heaven". ( Ephesians 6, 16-17) ( Psalm 45, 9-17) ( Song of Songs 6, 8-10 ) * Come and see the delights of heavenAs Jesus said : " Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross...", in the same way Holy Mary ask us to have faithand to be obedient to God, so that we also can be justified by God and be given a place in the kingdom of heaven. It is not easy to keep our faith, asby loving God we irritate the enemy, who sends temptations, the same way he did with Job, the servant of God. And God himself allows temptationsto happen, for him to measure the level of our faith. (Matthew 16,24) (Luke 9,23) (Job 1, 1-22) * My feet stand upon the gates of hellThe feet of the Holy Virgin Mary: the feet support the weight of the body, and allow the body to move from one place to another. The Holy Virgin carried Jesus' body in her womb, and so she also carries the Holy Church, Christ's elected ones. On earth she put in place the foundation of the church with the disciples after Jesus' death, and in heaven she prays constantly for her children. Where she is, are also the souls cherished by her Son Jesus. She is the origin of the victory of the Holy Church against evil. The gates : a gate or a door is a path which allows to enter or leave a place. The most known are :- Physical gates : in houses, public places like parks or gardens, towns gates.... - The body's gates : eyes, nose, mouth, ears, genital orifices...- The soul and the spirit gates : which communicate with the spiritual world...- The gates of life, the gates of death...which also communicate with other gatesThe soul's gates are essentially those of the breath of life and of graces and gifts given by God, while the spirit's gates are those of thoughts and actions. The gates can be used by the enemy, that is why in our prayers it is important to ask Jesus and Holy Mary to watch upon our gates. The gates of Hell are : the gates of the place called "Hell", disobedience to God (sin), thoughts and actions suggested by the enemy. Holy Mary has triumphed upon hell by giving birth to Jesus and by her obedience to God, and Jesus himself has annihilated hell through his resurrection.Victory : having victory on someone or something means having domination upon a person or a situation which is considered adverse or enemy. Holy Mary has victory upon hell, which means that hell is against God. Indeed, God did not create hell. It is the devil and his angels who created hell to keep in captivity the souls they take away from God. When Jesus descended into hell, he freed the souls which were in captivity. To understand this, you need to refer to the apocryphal text "The Acts of Pilate" also called "Gospel of Nicodemus", chapters 13 to 21. You can read this here: https://sacred-texts.com/bib/lbob/lbob10.htmGod's punishments are the fiery lake of burning sulfur, and the bottomless pit (and some others). Revelation : (19,20) (20,10) (20,14) (20,15) (21,8) Matthew : (18,8) (13,42) (25,41) * My arms bend a bow of bronze This is about the power of the Virgin Mary. She is very powerful, in what she can do, and also in the fact that she can obtain anything from Jesus. A bow of bronze is too hard to use for human beings, but nothing is too difficult to reach for our mother. Her power is compared to the power someone needs to be able to bend a bow of bronze and to send arrows. The arms of the Virgin Mary : The arms highlight the strength of a person. heavy loads are lifted with them. Our Holy Mother is the Queen of the Angels, she commands the celestial army. Holy Michael and his angels are under the orders of the Virgin Mary.* My knights are brave and hearly, and the chariots are pure goldThe angels of the celestial army are clothed and armed by God, they look glorious and resplendent, and are entirely devoted to God and to the Virgin Mary. Heaven is God's dwelling place. It is full of light and riches. The Gold of the earth is very pale in comparison to the gold which is in heaven. * Yet my heart is bleeding. Weep no more my children, I am wiping your tears Though she is glorious, the Virgin Mary is very sad to see her children suffering and going to perdition. O how she wishes them to come to her , and she will wipe their tears and bring them back to her Son Jesus.* I love lilies, beautiful lilies from the valleys, but roses are my favouritesThese lines are at the very beginning of the song, but they are so important that the best was to develop them at the end of the study :During her apparitions, the Holy Virgin Mary sometimes is seen with lilies or roses. Lilies are associated with purity, while roses are associated with perfection. The Virgin Mary loves the hearts which are pure(Matthew 5, 8 : Happy are the pure in heart, they will see God), however she prefers the hearts which are perfect(Matthew 5, 48 : You must be perfect, just as your Father in Heaven is perfect).

                   REVELATION 12

" A great sign appeared in heaven : a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve

stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven : an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of

the stars out of the skies and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will "rule the nations

with an iron scepter".

The great dragon was hurled down, - that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray.

He is full with fury, because he knows that his time is short."

When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.

The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river , to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon has spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring - those who keep God's commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus. The dragon stood on the shore of the sea."

At the time St-John sees these events, he is in spirit, in heaven, ( Revelation 1,10 and Revelation 4, 1 ) where the Angel of the Lord was showing him the upcoming events, with some highlights on past events. All of the Revelation 12 is happening in heaven, the events are not seen from earth in the sky.

The angel shows to St John :

- The Holy Virgin and the birth of Christ, after some tribulations.

- The Ascension of Christ ( Her child was snatched up to God an to his Throne : Jesus' Throne ).

- Now that Jesus is on his Throne, the demon and his angels are not allowed anymore to appear in front of God.

- The demon fights against Holy Marie, on earth before her Assumption, when she was with the disciples (Jesus entrusted St-John to look upon his mother, and St John was later on named "The Eagle of Patmos", the island where he was made prisonner- Eagles attack snakes- Mightiness and divinity of Christ.

( St John is represented as eagle, St Matthew as an angel -humanity of Christ- , St-Luke as an ox -sacrifice of Christ, and St Marc as a lion - resurrection ) Ezekiel 1, 1-28 and Revelation 4, 1-11.

- Then the demon fights against any representation or memory of the Virgin Mary, he doesn't want God'schildren to pray Holy Mary. Such thing is not possible, so he fights against those who prays her ( Those who keeps God's commands and who hold fast their testimony about Jesus).
